The Pennsylvania Simmental Association has two excellent incentive programs for Simmental cattle at the annual Pennsylvania Farm Show http://www.farmshow.state.pa.us/

 

Pennsylvania Farm Show Simmental Steer Program
The Pennsylvania Simmental Association will present a $200.00 cash award to the owner of the Champion Simmental Steer, a $100.00 cash award to the owner of the Reserve Champion Simmental Steer, and a $50.00 cash award to the exhibitors of all other Simmental steers shown. To be eligible for the Pennsylvania Simmental Association’s Simmental Steer Program, steers must have been purchased from a member of the Pennsylvania Simmental Association, or the Pennsylvania Junior Simmental Association, and the owner of the steer must be a member of the Pennsylvania Junior Simmental Association.

 

The Natushka Shoemaker Memorial Award at the Pennsylvania Farm Show
The Pennsylvania Simmental Association will present a $200.00 cash award and a director’s chair to the owner of the Grand Champion heifer of the Pennsylvania Farm Show Junior Breeding Simmental Show. The owner must be a member of the Pennsylvania Junior Simmental Association.
