    The Pennsylvania Fall Classic Simmental Sale was held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at the Greene County Fairgrounds, Waynesburg, PA. Despite the cold, damp day, there was robust attendance to the sale where sixty-three live lots, one pregnancy, and four genetic lots were sold. The sale averages of the various categories were as follows: live lots $2,241; pregnancies $3,900; opens $1,748; breds $2,527; cow/calf pairs $3,675; bulls $1,828; and ET’s $770. The PSA wishes to thank Jimmy Cowell for assisting with the sale setup, and the following people for helping to run the backside of the sale: Ron and Rhonda Dziembowski; the Bertrand family; Laurie Meyers; Jack Herr; Brenda Griffith; and Greg Stewart.
