Pennsylvania Fall Classic Simmental Sale

It is that time of year again! We are excited to start the planning on the PA Fall Classic. The sale will be Saturday, October 25th at the Greene County Fairgrounds in Waynesburg, PA. If you have any questions about your lots or what to consign, etc., just give us a call. Once we get all nominations in, we will check our numbers in each category and will get in touch with breeders if anything needs adjusted.

Note from the PSA:
PA Fall sale requirements per the PSA board of directors.

  • Consignors MUST be a paid PSA member for the 2025 calendar year for your nominations to be accepted.
  • If you are not a paid PSA member, be sure to send your membership dues to PSA treasurer, Jeremy Dobbin before sending in your sale nominations to Classic sales. DO NOT send your membership dues to Classic sales.
  • Membership dues should be sent to:

PSA membership: $50 (Late Charge for 2025)
Nomination fee per lot: $50 – Send to Classic Sales

Please send your nomination check to Classic Sales, 50 Endeavor Lane, Fairmont, WV 26554.

All animals must be registered at time of consignment and will need to be listed free of genetic defects in the ASA database. Keep in mind this process can take several weeks to complete and should be started before consigning.

Please send your high resolution pictures by Sept 10. We need pictures for ads as well as the catalog. Please refrain from photoshopping your animals in the pictures. We want to keep the integrity of the sale and each of our programs. All pictures are not guaranteed to be published.

Timeline:

  • Submit nominations in the link above by September 7th and send nomination fees payable to Classic Sales, 50 Endeavor Ln, Fairmont WV 26554.
  • Send Membership Fee payable to PSA and send to Jeremy Dobbin, 504 Ridge Rd, Halifax PA 17032
    Pictures Due: Sept 10th
  • Proof to consignors: Sept 17th (approximately – a reminder email will be sent a couple days before the proof is sent out, so you can be expecting the email) Corrections due the following day.
  • Mailout date: Oct 1st (approximately)
  • Cattle can arrive at the Greene County Fairgrounds: Oct 23rd and no later than noon Friday the 24th.
  • Sale Date: Oct 25th
